Child participation resources
New Resource Kit for conflict management and peace building in everyday life
In this resource kit you will find a series of tools which have been collected, adapted and used with and by children and youth in diverse socio-cultural and political contexts.
Evaluation of Child and Youth Participation in Peacebuilding – the reports are here
The first multi-agency, multi-country and multi-donor evaluation of children and youth participation in peace building is now here. The evaluation has looked at child and youth peacebuilding initiatives in Nepal, Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Colombia. The results reveal that young peacebuilders often became more aware and active citizens for peace; they increased peaceful cohabitation and reduced discrimination; reduced violence; and increased support to vulnerable groups.

Digital Resourcebook – tools for conflict management and peace building
This Resource book is a collection of animations and short videos that present different tools to support children in their peace building activities. The tools will be useful to develop visions and understanding of peace, to document and assess experiences and situations; and to plan further action.
Global evaluation of children and youth participation in peacebuilding
An evaluation of children and youth in peacebuilding in a broader context has never been done before. Five international NGOs have started cooperation on this. The purpose is to identify what works for children and youth in peacebuilding and why, what does not work and why. The aim is also to support improvement of children and youth peace building initiatives by identifying and developing approaches, methods and tools for their further peace building initiatives.
Moving on – Surviving Lord Resistance Army
Moving on – Surviving Lord Resistance Army is an intimate and honest documentary on what it means for children and youth to be forced into cruel situations. The documentary demonstrates the need for children to process their experiences, to find a way of living and their deep wish to contribute to a better society and future for all.
We are not too young to build peace
This publication is about children and young people advocating for a UN resolution on children, youth and peace building, why it is needed and what it should contain.
